Title: Investment Analyst (IG / Crossover Credit)

Firm: $15bn+ multi-strategy HF

Location: NYC

Compensation: $200k salary + bonus

Support a senior portfolio manager within a multi-manager platform focused on investment grade and crossover credit opportunities across corporate bonds, credit derivatives, and related capital structure instruments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis on investment grade and crossover issuers, including financial modeling, industry analysis, and capital structure evaluation
• Monitor primary and secondary credit markets to identify relative value opportunities across bonds, CDS, and related instruments
• Build and maintain detailed issuer models, credit memos, and trade recommendations for the portfolio manager
• Track earnings, corporate developments, and macroeconomic factors affecting credit performance and spreads
• Assist with risk management, portfolio monitoring, and scenario analysis
• Communicate investment views and support trade execution within a fast-paced trading environment

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in credit research, investment banking, leveraged finance, or asset management
• Strong financial modeling and accounting skills with a focus on credit fundamentals
• Familiarity with investment grade and crossover credit markets, including corporate bonds and credit derivatives
• Ability to work in a high-intensity, team-oriented environment and generate actionable investment insights
