GP Accounting & Fund Controller
An established alternative investment manager is seeking a GP Accounting & Fund Controller to join its Finance & Operations team. The firm manages a diversified platform of private market investment vehicles and is recognized for its expertise in sophisticated alternative investment strategies. As the organization continues to grow, it is investing in a finance function built on technical excellence, operational discipline, collaboration, and scalable processes.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the GP Accounting & Fund Controller will serve as a senior member of the Finance & Operations team, partnering closely with finance leadership, investment professionals, and external service providers.
Unlike a traditional controller role with narrowly defined responsibilities, this position is designed around shared leadership and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will provide oversight across General Partner and management company accounting, fund accounting, carried interest administration, tax operations, investor support, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The role offers significant exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to help shape the continued evolution of a growing finance organization.
