Job Title: Servicing, Valuation & Litigation Finance Analyst
Location: New York, NY (in office)
Independent alternative asset management firm that specializes in multi-strategy hedge fund and opportunistic credit investing.
Primary Responsibilities

Portfolio Servicing: Assist with the post-close lifecycle across litigation finance investments including working with our operations and client services team to facilitate payment processing, wire transfers, draw requests, trade settlements, and collateral reporting as well as client reporting.

Co-Investment Servicing: Provide reporting and support to co-investment clients.

Litigation Finance Monitoring:Track case status and resolution timelines; liaise with law firms and counsel; maintain probability-weighted recovery/valuation models and escalate material developments to the team.

New Deal Support: Assist the team with financial modeling, due diligence, legal documentation review, and onboarding of newly closed transactions into servicing.

Valuation & Fair Value Analysis:Prepare and maintain semi-annually fair value models across all litigation finance investments, incorporating litigation case progression metrics.

Covenant & Compliance Monitoring:Monitor covenant compliance across the full portfolio; identify early warning signs of credit deterioration; coordinate with portfolio managers and counsel on breaches or amendments.

Reporting, Data & Documentation:Own data accuracy; support LP co-investment reporting, investor capital tracking, audit processes, and maintain organized deal files across all positions.

Work-outs: Key role in assisting with work-outs for credits that are behind plan.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, with strong academic credentials.
- ~5 years of experience in private credit servicing, asset-backed lending, structured credit, specialty finance, or litigation finance (ideally some work-out experience and any legal adjacent experience a plus).
- Familiarity with co-investment structures, closed-end fund/LP mechanics, and associated reporting requirements.

Salary Range: $175-$200k (depending on experience) + bonus
