Title: Analyst, Private Credit Investments

Firm: NYC AIA with $11+ billion in AUM

Location: 5 days per week in-office in NYC

Compensation: $120-160k salary + discretionary bonus

Responsibilities

• Primary focus on supporting the firms private lending business and CLO investments
• Provide data-driven insights, fundamental analysis, conduct company maintenance and monitoring, interact with company managements
• Assist other analysts and senior leaders in the evaluation and monitoring private credit portfolio investments
• Implement scalable analysis and monitoring systems for the firms private investments and CLO franchise
• Model-building + qualitative assessments
• Communicating facts, analysis, and conclusions in an effective manner
• Idea generation
• Present complex ideas clearly to both the PMs and IC

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a quantitative orientation balanced by creative thinking
• Experienced in market research and data analysis
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills
• Must be articulate and excellent written communicators
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team as well as excellent communication and presentation skills are essential
• Relevant experience in the investment industry of 2 to 5 years
